Civil Responsability Decennial
The ten-year civil liability guarantee shall cover, for ten years from the receipt of the work on the work of repairing the work on which you have been involved when your ten-year liability is incurred.
The guarantee shall apply to the benefit of the Contractor and successive purchasers, for all disturbances of a ten-year nature which have occurred after receipt, i.e. those which affect the soundness of the work and/or render it unfit at its destination or endanger the safety of persons.
This insurance has been compulsory since the Spinetta Act of 4 January 1978 for all manufacturers whose ten-year responsibility may be brought into play.
This guarantee must be taken out before the start of the work.
Who should take out permanent civil liability insurance?
Any builder bound by a contract for the rental of works with the construction master (construction craftsmen, construction companies, architects, design firms, etc.)

Purpose of the guarantee
This guarantee shall apply under the same conditions as a classic ten-year guarantee for the benefit of the Contractor and successive purchasers, for all disturbances of a 10-year nature which have occurred after receipt, i.e. those which affect the strength of the work and/or make it unsuitable for its purpose or endanger the safety of persons.
This guarantee must be taken out before the start of the work and is limited to a period of 10 years from the receipt of the works.
